‘Washington threatens to exit nuclear deal to gain leverage’

TEHRAN – Morad Enadi, a political commentator, said on Friday that the U.S. government is seeking to gain leverage by threatening to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal.
In an interview with Mehr news agency, Enadi said the U.S. government, by imposing new sanctions, is trying to show that the nuclear deal is useless.
“It seems that threatening to exit BARJAM (nuclear deal) is more like a tactical move than a serious and operational decision,” he said.
